Academic Support and After School Care

Academic Support

Academic Support: We support students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and work with students on reading, writing, math, social/behavior skills and study skills. Most special education support happens in students’ regular classes, although we do provide small group or 1:1 pullout based on student needs. Our goal is to increase students’ access to the general education curriculum.

ML Department

English Learners (EL): ELs receive support in their general education classrooms and in small groups. We support students in developing their Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening skills. We have one .6 teacher and one full time instructional assistant to support English language learners. Translation support is available for families for all parent teacher conferences and other educational meetings.
