I am truly honored to serve as the principal of Sand Point Elementary, a school community where every child is known, valued, and inspired to thrive. At Sand Point, we believe that learning should be joyful, rigorous, and inclusive. Each day, our dedicated staff works to ensure that students feel safe, supported, and challenged, while building a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Over the past two decades in public education, I have had the privilege of teaching and leading at both the school and district levels. My journey has included serving as a classroom teacher, support services and multilingual education leader, assistant principal, and district administrator. These experiences have shaped my commitment to equity, inclusive practices, and ensuring that all children have access to the opportunities they deserve. I strive to work alongside students, families, and staff to foster belonging, high expectations, and academic growth.

As both an educator and a parent, I know the importance of strong school-family partnerships. I bring to Sand Point not only my professional expertise, but also my perspective as the proud parent of an elementary student. I am committed to building a school community where families feel connected, children feel seen and celebrated, and every student’s potential is nurtured.
